Rock Camp SLC Program Announcements MAILCHIMP.png

We hope you and your families are safe, happy, and healthy. We know that most of our community members are struggling in some way or another and we want you to know that your struggles are our struggles - we are all in this together.

With coronavirus cases continuing to surge in Utah, we are committed to keeping our Rock Camp community safe by not hosting events that require people to gather. Last year at this time, we were opening applications for our annual adult camp and fundraiser, Slay Lake City. Unfortunately, it is not safe to host an event like this in the coming months and SLAY LAKE CITY 2021 IS CANCELLED. We have heard from so many campers and volunteers who would like to see Rock Camp programming this winter. We are working on our FIRST-EVER ONLINE CAMP AND SHOWCASE COMBINING YOUTH & ADULTS! Watch for our big announcement and sign up information on Tuesday, December 15th.

As members of the Girls Rock Camp Alliance, we are connected to over 100 music and gender empowerment organizations like ours all over the world. Some locations were able to adapt their programming online or host camps in 2020 with a hybrid of online instruction and small socially-distanced gatherings. We have been collaborating with these camps to figure out what worked and what did not. WE ARE COMMITTED TO HOSTING ONLINE YOUTH CAMPS IN THE SUMMER OF 2021. Watch for announcements and sign ups in the Spring!

In Health and Solidarity,

Rock Camp SLC
